Bernhard Zeilinger is a political scientist and lecturer in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes European Economy and Business Management at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Vienna and has taught there since 2009. His academic career includes research positions at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) and the Austrian Academy of Sciences, as well as visiting scholar appointments in Moscow, Minsk, and Kyiv. His research focuses on European integration, EU governance, economic policy coordination, social policy, and interest group politics.

AI-HED best practice: From Passive Tool Use to Critical and Comparative AI Engagement, developed in the course Introduction to Political Science. Students created theory-based prompts, generated election manifestos and speeches with different LLMs, and compared outputs for bias, propaganda, hegemony, and political information control.
